Orpheus and the Archangel Michael

The Archangel Michael has been with me, teaching me and channeling through me since 1980. I was never what one would call religious by the traditional definition and before I became aware of Michael, I spent many years studying various metaphysical subjects which prepared me for my life with Michael as my guardian and teacher. Although, I had witnessed others channeling and had an understanding and awareness of unseen spirits due to my metaphysical studies, I never guessed that I would become a channel myself.

Initially, I resisted the idea of becoming a channel and while the ‘first contact’ happened by waking me up from a deep sleep, the integration with Michael happened slowly. It took time and a lot of trust to give permission for Michael to use my body as a vehicle for the transmission of his messages and knowledge. Although, Michael and I are very comfortable after these many years together, in the beginning there were physical adjustments that I had to undergo. It was a novel experience for both of us as Michael learned the new phenomenon of a physical form and the mechanism of speech and my human body.

I have had many extraordinary and rewarding experiences working with Michael as my guardian, and teacher. And, although the journey has been incredibly rewarding, it has not always been easy. One would think that having an Archangel as a mentor would make things simpler and somehow protected from the world and it’s difficulties. I have lived through cancer, and had many out of body experiences including three near death experiences, a gall bladder surgery that ultimately ended in the removal of a very large portion of my intestine and many more obstacles before and after Michael became my teacher, so you may think to yourself–with an angel riding on my shoulder–why would I have to go through these things?

Here’s the short answer; remember I am still in a physical form and Michael is the Archangel of transmuting negativity; I am not exempt from having to go through my own levels of initiation to fulfill my personal and spiritual destiny. In fact it may be even more necessary considering who my teacher is. That’s what the lesson is all about–transmuting negativity–no matter what form. Whether it’s about world issues, finances, relationships, or our personal spiritual quest in life Michael’s teachings have helped me, and others change the negative in our lives to positives and finish our journey in this physical form with light and love. He has taken me to higher plateaus of knowledge within and about myself and each day I acknowledge and recognize the momentous responsibility of being with Michael and embracing his teachings for my self as well as teaching them to others.
